How can I test my guidebooks on the smarthone?

This article explains how GUIBO users can download and test guidebooks and releases.

Set up your device as a test device

To register your device as a test device, you need to enter your device ID in the account settings. Follow these steps:

1. In the Backend navigation on the left hand side, click on the icon App → Select the Tab Configuration

2. Click on "Add test device" and enter your name and device ID

When you download a guidebook using a test release code (starting with 77), all features of the guidebook will be visible – including, for example, the option to share the GPX file.

If you want to test a traveler release with its customized features, you can download the guidebook using the customer release code on a test device. This download will not count toward the maximum number of devices and will not be charged. Please note:

• This works only with test device from operator account, not seller account.

• A download outside of start and end date is possible.

• Test devices and their downloads are visible in the release dashboard.

• Test devices are marked accordingly in the device list of a release. The device name is also displayed as configured in the account settings.
