What is the GUIBO B2B Network and what can you do with it?

PreviousWebshop MapsNextReleases API

Last updated 19 days ago

The GUIBO B2B Network is a B2B platform where tour operators and agencies/resellers can streamline their operations. They can establish new partnerships and automate their travel document sharing processes with built-in rebranding capabilities.

Follow these steps using the GUIBO B2B Network:

1

Connect with agencies/resellers and tour operators

  • Connect with your existing partners

  • Discover new tour operators or agencies/resellers to work with

  • Showcase your guidebooks with demo-releases with agencies/resellers

2

Share re-branded releases with your GUIBO and non-GUIBO partners

  • Tour operators can set agencies/resellers accounts as a "seller" for individual bookings

  • The release will be shared with the agencies/resellers

  • The agencies/reseller receives an e-mail with all details

  • The agencies/reseller can see the release in his own release dashboard

  • The release will be "re-branded" to the look & feel of the agencies/reseller's brand

3

Share interactive webshop maps

  • Tour operators can share guidebooks with agencies/resellers accounts

  • The guidebook appears as a "shared guidebook" in the agencies/reseller account

  • The agencies/reseller account is limited to see the guidebook's webshop overview map

  • The agencies/reseller can embed the shared overview map in his webshop

1. How to connect with agencies/resellers and tour operators

  • Click on "GUIBO Network" in the left menu bar

  • "Extend Network" is selected as default

  • Click "Connect" for the partner you want to connect with

  • Type in your e-mail address and a message if you want

  • Click on "send"

  • Track your invitation state under the tab "invitations"

  • All partners with accepted invitations are listed under "My network"

2.1 How to share re-branded releases with your partners at GUIBO?

Share releases via Webportal

  • Create a release

  • At step 6 "Define seller" , choose one of your connected partners

  • See the release in your release dashboard with a specific seller:

Share demo releases to showcase your guidebooks

  • Share demo releases for to

    • present your product to a partner, or

    • share pre-seasonal data with you partner (e.g. GPX files)

  • Click on "GUIBO Network" in the left menu bar

  • Stay at "Extend Network" when you want to share a demo release with a partner you are not yet connected with

  • Click "My network" when you want to share a demo release with one of your already connected partners

  • Click "Send Demo Release" for the partner

    • Provide guidebook title for which you want to share a demo release

  • Click "send"

  • See the demo release the same way as your partner in the tab "demo releases"

  • Simply add the agency/reseller account id to the API Call when creating a release

2.2 How to share re-branded releases with your partners not at GUIBO?

You have two options for sharing re-branded releases with non-GUIBO partners:

  1. Create self-managed partner accounts - You manage the accocunt. - You have to setup and care about the look and feel. - You have to send the release-link for each booking to the agency.

  2. Invite your agency for a GUIBO free account - Your agency/reseller is invited to create a free GUIBO account. - In a ~20min video call, the GUIBO team shows how to setup the account. - Now, you can simply share releases with this agencies/reseller by setting the "seller" field.

Create self-managed partner accounts or invite your agencies/resellers

  1. Click Guibo Network in the left menu

  2. Click the orange plus button

  3. Enter two key details:

    1. The name of the agency

    2. The e-mail address you use for logging in

      1. Use youre e-mail address for self-managed accounts

      2. Use your agency/reseller's e-mail address for an invitation

2.3 Here's how the re-branding for agencies/resellers looks like

When an agency/reseller is assigned to a release, GUIBO automatically adapts the content to match the agency's brand identity. Here's how this looks like:

What is re-branded...

Re-branded Release Page

  • Replaces the operator's logo with the agency's logo

  • Updates the main color scheme to match the agency's brand colors

Re-branded App

  • Links the agency app within the release page

  • When no agency app exists, the GUIBO app is linked within the release page

  • For downloaded guidebooks, the agency logo is displayed. The organizer of the trip is indicated under the title. See blow.

Re-branded Roadbook PDF

  • Applies the agency's cover for the roadbook's first and last page

2.4 How to customize the re-branding for agencies?

The re-branding process relies on the agency's GUIBO account settings: When an operator is sharing a release with you, your look & feel settings will be applied for the re-branding.

For partner accounts (representing agencies without GUIBO), you'll need to configure branding settings within the partner account itself.

For GUIBO accounts only: Submit a support ticket for customization. Note: This feature isn't available for partner accounts.

2.5 Here's how tour operator and seller download codes are managed

Shared releases have two download codes: A tour operator download code which typically refers to the operator's booking code. Shared releases also have a seller download code which can be set by the operator or by the agency/reseller.

What does this mean for travellers when downloading the guidebook in the App?

  • As outlined above, the agency/reseller's app is linked on the release page for shared releases

  • The same is true for the download code: It's the seller id and the seller download code which is presented on the release page

  • When using the GUIBO App (agency/reseller has no white-label app), your travelers can use both combinations to download the guidebook:

    • Tour Operator Id + Tour Operator Download Code

    • Seller Id + Seller Download Code

Here's how you can define both download codes for the operator and the reseller/agency

  • Tour Operator Download Code Set by the operator when creating a release (via Webportal or API).

  • Seller Download Code

    • When creating a release via API

      • The operator can set any specific download code for the seller.

      • When the operator does not set a specific download code for the seller, GUIBO sets a specific default seller download code for this release.

    • When creating a release via Webportal

      • When creating a release, setting a specific seller download code is not yet possible

      • In this case, GUIBO always sets a default seller download code

      • Operator as well as the seller can change the seller download code in the release dashboard

For more details see the .

Voilà: The account is ready. You can now set this agency as a seller when creating releases. See below how to setup the agency's look & feel ().
