2. How to share releases with your partners not at GUIBO?

You have two options for sharing re-branded releases with non-GUIBO partners:

  1. Create self-managed partner accounts (multi brand management) - You manage the accocunt. - You have to setup and care about the look and feel. - You have to send the release-link for each booking to the reseller.

  2. Invite your reseller for a GUIBO free account - Your reseller is invited to create a free GUIBO account. - In a ~20min video call, the GUIBO team shows how to setup the account. - Now, you can simply share releases with this reseller by setting the "seller" field.

Create self-managed partner accounts or invite your resellers

  1. Click Guibo Network in the left menu

  2. Click the orange plus button

  3. Enter two key details:

    1. The name of the reseller

    2. The e-mail address you use for logging in

      1. Use youre e-mail address for self-managed accounts

      2. Use your reseller's e-mail address for an invitation

  4. Voilà: The account is ready. You can now set this reseller as a seller when creating releases. See below how to setup the agency's look & feel (click).

3 Here's how the re-branding for resellers looks like

When an reseller is assigned to a release, GUIBO automatically adapts the content to match the agency's brand identity. Here's how this looks like:

What is re-branded...

Re-branded Release Page

  • Replaces the operator's logo with the reseller's logo

  • Updates the main color scheme to match the reseller's brand colors

Re-branded App

  • Links the reseller app within the release page

  • When no reseller app exists, the GUIBO app is linked within the release page

  • For downloaded guidebooks, the reseller logo is displayed. The organizer of the trip is indicated under the title. See blow.

4 How to customize the re-branding for resellers?

The re-branding process relies on the reseller's GUIBO account settings: When an operator is sharing a release with you, your look & feel settings will be applied for the re-branding.

For partner accounts (representing resellers without GUIBO), you'll need to configure branding settings within the partner account itself.

5 Here's how tour operator and seller download codes are managed

Shared releases have two download codes: A tour operator download code which typically refers to the operator's booking code. Shared releases also have a seller download code which can be set by the operator or by the reseller.

What does this mean for travellers when downloading the guidebook in the App?

  • As outlined above, the reseller's app is linked on the release page for shared releases

  • The same is true for the download code: It's the seller id and the seller download code which is presented on the release page

  • When using the GUIBO App (reseller has no white-label app), your travelers can use both combinations to download the guidebook:

    • Tour Operator Id + Tour Operator Download Code

    • Seller Id + Seller Download Code

Here's how you can define both download codes for the operator and the reseller

  • Tour Operator Download Code Set by the operator when creating a release (via Webportal or API).

  • Seller Download Code

    • When creating a release via API

      • The operator can set any specific download code for the seller.

      • When the operator does not set a specific download code for the seller, GUIBO sets a specific default seller download code for this release.

    • When creating a release via Webportal

      • When creating a release, setting a specific seller download code is not yet possible

      • In this case, GUIBO always sets a default seller download code

      • Operator as well as the seller can change the seller download code in the release dashboard
